Ah, what a weekend. I think I must have walked like 8 miles every day. I flew out early friday morning after Sean's speach therapist left. I traveled for some 6.5 hours and made it to the colorful world of Las Vegas. I waited about an hour at the airport for my co workers from Denver to arrive, then we went off to Cesars Palace. I truly felt like a queen in my nice hotel room. I shared a room with a coworker, however I'll tell you, we were barely there. For those of you who don't know, this was a company paid trip for business and it was a very nice treat. Friday night we had a social get together than off to the strip! Saturday, I walked up to the Fashion Show Mall on the strip, one of the largest malls with 7 flagship stores, I was in shopping heaven, however I didn't buy much at all, just enjoyed looking at everything. Saturday night after we eat at Jimmy Buffetts Margaritaville we walked down to the Wynn Hotel to see our show by Franco Dragon, La Reeve! This had to be one of the most facsinating things I've ever seen. Highly recommend it to all. The new Wynn Hotel is breathtaking. Has a Ferrari Dealership located on the premisis. Saturday night, I called it and early night and went to bed at midnight while my co workers hit the casinos. Sunday I had breakfast with my VP and an old co worker, that was really nice. Then off to the mall again :), still didn't buy much, but I did splurge on a nightgown for Aidan, it was blue with an embroidered baseball, so stinking cute. Sunday night was a large awards dinner at Cesar's, yummy meal it was. I did a little bit of gambling Sunday night at O'Sheas. I spent $10 on a chip at a black jack table and I played for about 2 hours, talk about cheap entertainment. Then off to bed. Monday was my birthday and I traveled all day. Sean thought his Mama abandoned him and came running towards me at the baggage claim. It's funny you can tell when he's mad, he won't look at you. Took all night to get him to ease up. This week has flown by, Sean missed preschool today because he sounded horrible, we took him to his Aunt Wendy tonight and the poor kid has tonsilitus, yuck! We're up late because he can't get comfortable. Sounds like it's going to be a long night. The picture is of Sean with his new Pilot hat I picked up from the airport, he loves his hats!
