well we made it to two weeks, Ian's first day back to work was today, he worked a full 9 hours, Sean went to his Nanni's (grandmothers)house, I am still pretty much stuck to a sitting position in order to avoid that stinging pain that is on the right side of my incision. I went to the ER on Saturday and the ER doc basically said I too high of expectations, that Csection recovery takes time to recover from. I told him I understood that because I had one before, however I was able to walk around, followed up with a partner to my OBGYN that monday and he said he felt a lump where the incision was closed but thinks it's normal abdonminal swelling and it would likely take a month to go away. So I guess Aidan and I will be sitting on the couch or bed for a month. That is very hard to do when you see things that need to be cleaned or have a 2 1/2 year old that needs attention. Ian has completly stepped in and taken over 100% of Sean's bedtime routine, which is no easy feat because you lay in bed with him anywhere from 30 mins to 1hr and 30 mins. Aidan is doing great! He weighed in at his birth weight at his 1 week visit. He is a little gassy and likes to be on a boob every 20 minutes, however he is beautiful! I'll try to write more, but it's a true talent to be on the computer typing one handed with your other hand on the baby why he is attached to a boob... too funny
