The Thomas Family

I know It's I've been writing infrequently this last week. 1st off I'm having issues uploading pictures on my blog, for some reason it's not just me, so that's a bit frustrating. Other than that, this momma is BUSY. Sean is doing well at school, I met with his teacher today to develop an IEP "Individualized Education Plan". His preschool teacher was there, her 2 aids, the 3 year old preschool teacher and the Kindegarten teacher. All were extremely impressed on how smart Sean was. The best part about today is that the Teacher was able to put into writing everything I knew in my heart we needed to work on, but I wasn't able to get it put in such a good plan. He'll be getting speach lessons 45 minutes every week. The teacher said that she was working with him on the potty training piece in addition to us. He's getting there. She said the other day she was measuring his height and when he saw the numbers he proceeded to count to 60 for her, she was VERY impressed. The Kindegarten teacher was impressed with his spelling skills for his age. I also made him show off a tad bit and sign for them. After Sean got his eartubes when he was 18 months old, to get his speach up to speed Ian & I would sign basic sign commands with him, EAT, DRINK, MORE, Thank You. This last month I have been signing the letters of the Alphabet and he's actually starting to sign a bit, the teacher at school picked up on it because she knows how to sign and was very impressed at that as well. I'm excited for him. We entered Aidan into the Regis & Kelly Beautiful Baby Contest. Even if he doesn't get picked as a finalist, he's still a beautiful baby to his Momma! I started a local Mommy Meetup group to keep myself busy, maybe I'll make a friend or two. I've also developed a website that this sight links to www.theosmom.blogspot.com that I hope to sell advertising off of down the road as a source of income. How is my Ebay business going.... we'll it's been tought to find two free hands, but I sold 5 items last week and made about 20.00. So, you know that buys me a mocha and the rest I'm saving to buy paint at Benjamin Moore. I recently decided to tape off my living room and kitchen to be painted a "fern green". The color was featured in a Pottery Barn Catalog and this month I'm feeling green! I hope everyone is doing well~~~ I'll post pictures as soon as blogger figures out their issue!
