The Thomas Family

Sean's not officially riding the bus until next week, so I drove him to school today, his teacher gave me a mom surviving the first day of school goodie bag, it included a quarter, because it's ok to call, a compass because they won't lose him, and a boomerang because they will send him home to me at the end of the day. When I picked him up he was singing the ABC song with his teacher Ms.Lori. The assistant teacher came up to me and said how smart Sean was, he new his alphabet, his shapes, his colors and the other assistant thought he should move on up to the first grade. That put a small on my face. Sean did great up until he watched all of his classmates get on the bright yellow school bus and he through a tantrum of ages because he wasn't going on it. The reason he can't ride it yet is because the bus has to get him put on the schedule and order him a special car seat and because I registered him on the last day of the school year last year, it wasn't enough time to get it done. I sure hope on monday he's riding that bus or I am looking at a long week of tantrums. I'm excited for him. Aidan took an hour nap today while Sean was at school and it gave me a chance to get a lot done. I think I'll be cleaning house for a week and then after I feel organized, I'll start jumping into the EBAY business.
