teething!

ugghh... Aidan is cutting his two top front teeth for the last week... his is miserable. Poor little man. I started back to work last week. Went through a million emotions leaving the baby and sean. Ian took last week off to trainsition them, so he got to play stay at home dad. Aidan starts an in home day care with a friend of mine from the playgroup and Ian & I are going to juggle Sean at home when he gets home from preschool. Usually he comes home has a snack and takes a two or three hour nap. I a little reserved about talking about my new position. I am still trying to deterime if it is the right one. I am pretty selective about my careers, the last two Ive had I was at for over 5 years each. Finding free time is almost impossible. My mother and father in law were nice enough to watch their grandchildren yesterday and Ian & I were able to spend a few hours together kid free. I am participating in a walk for Autism this fall in Houston. My best friend from high school, Heather lives there and she is going to walk with me. We are raising money for AutismSpeaks.org, the largest recognized non profit organization funding autism research. If you dont already know, Sean was diagnosed with a high function form of Autism in February called Aspergers. We were relieved to have his diagnosis because we could stop wonder what is going on and focus on his early intervention and education. On the right side of the page you will see a link to my fund raising website, it will be there until I participate in the walk in October. I'd personally like to exceed that goal. I really wish they could figure out the cause of autism because anyone reading this blog, there is a 1 in 96 chance now for boys to be diagnosed with some form of Autism. The odds are high, we have to prevent this moving forward. Lets keep our scientists working hard.
