A little face of the reality of the Insurance Industry on the Gulf Coast right now. A lot of the homes that flooded also happened to be heavily wind damaged. Most of the individuals who lost their homes didn't have flood insurance because they were not in a designated flood areas. Which stinks. I mean who thought tidal surge of that enormity could possibly happen? A big legal battle going on. I could onldy hope in favor of the home owner. It's a sad thing to lose everything you have, some people barely escaped with their lives. Of course our family was very lucky and blessed, but there are so many who are having this battle, you can't hope but to pray for them.
